What are the ipsy Community Guidelines?

Be positive.
We believe in communicating with one another in the most positive way possible. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Non-constructive negativity doesn't add value to the community experience, so please do not disparage other ipsters, ipsy creators, products, brands, or ipsy in general. We always welcome your feedback, and there's nothing wrong with a healthy debate or discussion, but please keep it constructive.

Be respectful.
If you want respect, give it first. Every ipster has a right to participate on our website and social media channels without being ridiculed.

We have ipsters from all walks of life, so be mindful by avoiding hurtful language and anything that could potentially offend your fellow ipsters.

The ipsy creators are a crucial part of our community, and always work hard to inspire you with amazing content. Please remember they are human beings -- just like you -- who deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.

We have a no-tolerance policy for abuse toward community members. Any comment that is negative, critical, judgmental, or disparaging in any sense toward an individual creator, our creators as a group, or a fellow ipster will be deleted.

Please extend respect not only to your fellow ipsters and the ipsy creators, but also to the ipsyCare team! They're real people, here to provide you with stellar service and support, so please be nice. They'll always treat you with dignity and kindness, so we expect you to do the same.

Don't be rude, cruel, or intolerant.
Harassing, bullying, or intimidating other ipsters, or defaming the community, ipsy creators, and the company as a whole, is not acceptable.

We do not tolerate name-calling; personal, professional, or religious attacks or threats; racist or sexist comments; hate speech (or any comments that could be interpreted as such); demeaning remarks based on personal appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, disability, or sexual orientation.

If you violate our Community Guidelines, it's kind of like baseball: you get three strikes before you're out. After your first violation of the Community Guidelines, our ipsyCare team will send you a warning message. You'll receive a second warning message after the second violation. If you commit another violation after that, your user account and subscription will be cancelled (which would just be super lame, so don't let it happen)! If the first or second violation is egregious enough, we reserve the right to ban immediately.
