Some notes on how shipping works:
- If your order shipped, it can take some time for your package to get delivered.
- It’s totally normal for your tracking to go a few days without an update. Once your package arrives at your local post office, the tracking may not update until it goes out for delivery.
- Sometimes shipping labels can get scratched during processing and don't register properly, but your package should still be on its way!
What does my tracking status mean?
Tracking Status | Description |
Delivered | Packages are scanned for delivery before your local mail carrier physically drops them at your home, and you may receive your order within 24 hours after your tracking has updated to “delivered.” If it’s been longer than 24 hours, please contact IPSY Care by clicking on the pink question mark in the bottom right corner of this page. We'll be happy to help! |
Missent | Packages marked "missent" may result from an improper routing through the USPS. Don’t worry, they’ll be redirected, and you will receive your package as scheduled. Please allow three days after the “missent” update for final delivery, and if you haven't received it by then, please contact IPSY Care by clicking on the pink question mark in the bottom right corner of this page. |
Tendered | Your package is shipped with the help of DHL, Pitney Bowes or ACI Logistix, and USPS. "Tendered" means the carrier has passed your package on to USPS, and it will soon be on its way to your local post office for delivery. You may not see tracking updates during this time, but that is normal and your package should still arrive on schedule. |
Electronic Notification Received | Your order is on its way! The route activity on your tracking just hasn't been updated yet. The tracking activity will update soon, and you'll be able to see more info about where it is, as well as the estimated delivery date. |

Forwarded | According to USPS's shipping policy, they are usually not able to offer forwarding services on packages, so it's unlikely your orders will be forwarded to your new address. Please contact IPSY Care by clicking on the pink question mark in the bottom right corner of this page. Be sure to provide your current shipping address, and we'll be happy to further assist you. |
Why hasn't my tracking code updated?
It’s totally normal for your tracking to go a few days without an update. Once your package arrives at your local post office, the tracking may not update until it goes out for delivery. Sometimes shipping labels can get scratched during processing and don't register properly, but your package should still be on its way.
Why is my package being shipped an indirect route?
All major carriers use a hub-and-spoke system to deliver packages, which means that when packages leave our warehouse, they go to the nearest hub regardless of their final destination. We know it might seem strange, but this actually makes the entire process more efficient and ensures the speediest delivery for your package.
Why is my tracking code inactive?
Tracking codes can take 48 hours to activate. If your tracking is still inactive after 48 hours, the bar code on your package may have been marked or scratched in the mail, which means it won't scan properly. Even though you can't track it online, this will not affect delivery, and you should receive your order as scheduled.
I changed my address. Will I get my package at my new address?
